| Introduction | I travel a lot for work and I meet lots of people, especially in the meetings industry. And each time I think by myself: 'Damn, if only I could make everyone part of this moment or this conversation.' I can't write everything down in my magazines, that would bankrupt my little publishing company immediately… I was thinking: making my own blog would enable my readers to respond to my statements and conceptions. And I could show my favourite snapshots in an instant. Diane Pernet's blog 'A Shaded View on Fashion' served as an exemplar to me. The real breakthrough came late last year, when I was tempted to play Socrates with two colleagues. We agreed to ask each other questions for 15 minutes but not give any answers. It was an astonishing moment. 'I have to tell this story to everyone', I thought. And now I can! I still owe you this story. |
