| Introduction | Robert E. Ellis has has been a defense industry executive. Following college, Ellis enlisted in the USMC attending OCS. Following discharge, Ellis founded the Bio Dynamics Corporation developer of technology for the U.S. military and Intelligence community. The company built sensors for the Reconnaissance, Intelligence, Surveillance and Target Acquisition (RISTA) community. Working in a highly classified (Black Programs) environment for the military and classified federal agencies, he led a team of Physicists, Engineers and Computer Scientists. Ellis’s company was recognized by the Department of Defense as the National Technical Leader in Airborne Acoustic Sensor Technology. Ellis sold his company to Science Applications International Corporation a $3.5B defense contractor. At SAIC, Ellis a Division Manager, served on multiple corporate task forces to commercialize defense technology. In addition, Ellis served in a liaison role to the Special Operations and Intelligence Communities. Ellis held a TOP SECRET (polygraph) security clearance for special compartmented intelligence (SCI), in addition to numerous collateral clearances. |
