Introduction Who am I? My name is Julie Power. I write this blog and the print publication, the Internet Marketing Report. Why can you trust me to give you good marketing ideas? Because I've been writing about marketing and business for nearly 25 years. What can you expect? Great ideas written in an easy to read style. What's my promise? Good ideas that may also put a smile on your face. What else do you want to know? Feel free to ask by emailing me at jpower@pbp.com You can also read my posts on marketing at BusinessBrief.com and my thoughts on being a working mom at MomstoWork.com ... Please drop in to say hi.
Interests I have beautiful twin boys who six. Between work and my family, who has time for much else? The silly me? I don't feel human until after strong espresso in the morning or until a glass of wine at night, I feel better after exercise but often feel too slothful to make it to the gym. I love the high I get from spinning classes (it reminds me of dancing until 3 a.m in the morning when I was quite a bit younger.) I like to read a lot, I enjoy cooking (most often without recipes, often successfully, but sometimes with weird results), I like to write (but this is my first blog). I have dual citizenship, Australian and American. I used to work in newspapers, including the Australian Financial Review. I love my family and kids (although as I write this I am holed up in bed hiding from them all). By the way, you can follow me on Twitter. My user name is juliepower, the same name I use in real life.
Favorite Movies Too many to mention
Favorite Music Opera, Ray Charles, Paul Kelly, Lark Ascending by Vaughan Williams ... anything on XPN.org, music on Pandora including Alela Diane and some other Aussies.
Favorite Books Too many to list. Can't get enough great ones and read too much junk.

It doesn't.
