Introduction	I am currently in my final year studying Textile Design at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design. I specialise in knitted fabrics and work on both domestic machines as well as practicing hand knitting and crochet. I am passionate about the environment that we live in, sustainable materials and design matter and I look to consider these factors in my work. The emotional connections people make with objects is a subject I find hugely interesting and in the future I want to look into designing items that will last a lifetime because of the connections people make with them. Home is a huge inspiration to me. I enjoy working from natural, organic forms and subjects that capture my interest. This blog is a continuing record of my work, influences and thoughts throughout my time at DJCAD.
