About me

LocationLos Altos Hills, CA, United States
IntroductionI've been an internet start-up entrepreneur and now I'm new to the mobile world. Trying to make observations from a decade as an "internet guy" about trends and differences on the wireless internet and media space. I was a co-founder at site59.com in New York, which was bought by Travelocity. Then I was CMO of Travelocity for 7 years (yes, I am the Gnome guy). Now I'm CEO of Skyfire, a very cool and disruptive cloud computing approach to mobile browsing and media. Skyfire is dedicated to closing the Mobile-PC gap and ensuring you can access all the rich content on the web that's been unavailable on mobile. And make the mobile internet fast, reliable, and more fun. We even aim to help carriers save bandwidth through our server-side compression, which can save 70-80% bandwidth on the big video files that are exploding on the internet. Basically, we want to put the zing back in mobile browsing. More at Skyfire.com.
