Introduction This blog isn't read by anyone but I'm going to keep it because I want to leave something all my children have access to. Plus, I think about so many things it's good to have a place to write.. I have a lot of things to post, it's just taking the time to do it. I grew up in a Christian home, I spent 7 1/2 years living in Kenya, the daughter of a missionary. I spent most of my adult years (and will continue until I die) finding out who God really is, just through His word. He has healed a lot but most of all, He has shown me and continues to show me, He just loves me. Please, feel free to comment on anything and ask me anything as well. I hope you leave my blog encouraged and maybe knowing a little more about the unchanging, steadfast love of our Creator. If you don't know Him, but want to, please, let me know. I'd love to talk with you!
Interests Reading, singing (I'm a jazz singer), spending time with my family which include our 2 youngest girls who still live at home, 2 of our grandchildren who we have taken guardianship of for a time, our 3 older children who are out on their own, and my sweet doggie, FRED the Basset Hound. I love spending time with my husband, who is also my very best friend. Most of all I love being loved by God. He is so kind and loving and patient. It will take me the rest of my life to know how much He loves me and I look forward to every moment spent with Him. My dad lived with us for 7 years and on December 4, 2013, he went home to live with Jesus. You can read about this experience and my process through it in the blogs titled "Graduation" and "Grief" and many others. Grief, I have found, is quite a process and I'm still in the thick of it.
