IntroductionI am the Gardener in Charge with the National Trust at Trerice Manor, near Newquay. I trained through the National Garden Society, National Trust Careership Scheme. I began working with the National Trust 4 years ago at Trelissick Gardens under the training and supervision of Assistant Head Gardener Tom Clarke and then Head Gardener Barry Champion.
InterestsI enjoy growing vegetables and fruit to eat. When I garden, I take most pleasure in encouraging the growth of our native, wild flowers and plants. I enjoy canoeing off the cornish coast on fine sunny days and catching mackerel, mmmm. I can spend hours investigating rockpools and helping to protect our beautiful sea life. I am an active member and volunteer for the Marine Conservation Society.
