| Introduction | hi, my name is janaina vaughn & i am an artist/designer. i developed my passion for bold colors, clean lines, and obsessing with the small details at a very early age. born into a family where artistic instincts are at surface level & speaking both portuguese & english presented me with infinite possibilities for expressing myself. i have degrees in creative writing & art history. i have spent most of my adult life, though, in the interior & architectural design field, focusing on historic preservation/reconstruction. i began focusing on my crafty endeavors fulltime over a year ago. it felt right, i felt & still feel the largest, most satisfying sense of self, a satisfaction that i never felt in anything i have ever done. it is amazing. and what they say about finding your “gift” & being true to it & that all good things will come, is true. olilo has grown & is growing & i am so incredibly grateful for those that have supported me; my family, my in-the-flesh friends, my wonderful friends throughout the world that i have made on the internet & the many more i hope to make. thank you all & stop by as often as you wish! |
