Introduction Reality TV and tennis. Think they don't go together? Sure they do. One makes me crazy; the other keeps me sane. One was sort of forced on me back in 2003; the other has been a passion on and off the court since I was 15 years old.

Before I'd even heard the word blog, I was asked to write an online column for the L.A. Times called The Reality TV Junkie. I was in a meeting about a proposed column covering reality TV and turned to ask the person next to me if they'd watched Big Brother the night before ... or was it The Bachelor? Anyway, the room went silent and all eyes were on me, the new Reality TV Junkie. Eventually the column gave way to a collection of blogs written by various writers. But I'm still watching. And dishing.

As for tennis, well … I simply love it. Love to play and love to watch, particularly the men’s game. After a few years away I saw a teenage Spaniard named Rafa Nadal take to the court, and I’ve had a renewed passion for the game ever since. Someday I hope to actually travel along with the ATP World Tour. For now, a virtual trip will have to suffice. Why don't you join me? You don't even have to break a sweat.
