| Introduction | I am a 43-year old woman who has had a life-long interest in baking and cooking. I am currently a Pastry Arts student at the Joseph A. Pagliante Culinary Institute at the Luzene County Community College in Nanticoke, Pa. I have "invented" many of my own recipies, including a great cheesecake recipe, which has grown into many different flavors of cheesecake, including the ones on my blog. I have actually sold my cheesecakes to friends and neighbors during the holidays, and after graduating from Pastry Arts school, I would love to have my own business if the opportunity arises. Baking has always been my true passion, and I can't wait to graduate and actually find a job doing what I love to do. Someday I would like to write and publish my own cookbook or baking book. |
| Interests | Baking and cooking, trying new recipes, antiquing, old movies, anything related to the 1920's era--love the 1920's fashions. Love all animals.I love the 1920's so much that my husband and I actually had a 1920's-themed wedding! |
| Favorite movies | Any Alfred Hitchcock movie, and movies with Joan Crawford or Bette Davis, also 'The Great Outdoors' with John Candy and Dan Akroyd, 'Planes, Trains, and Automobiles', 'National Lampoons Christmas', and 'Back to School' with Rodney Dangerfield. Any movie that Anthony Hopkins stars in is also a favorite. |
