| Introduction | When I stop to think about it, really think about it, I guess I'm several different persons rolled up into...well, me; mind you, this is not in a multiple personality sort of way. But I (like everyone else) have many roles in life. I'm a mother to 2 wildly smart, beautiful, fantastic children; I’m a sister, a sister-in-law, an aunt, a cousin, a niece; I’m a friend to my besties, as well as strangers around me; I’m funny & quick-witted; I’m the 'princess' to those who know me best; I’m a Registered Nurse and an educator to student nurses, as well as my clients & their families; I’m a colleague & peer, mentor & protégé, a teacher & student; I’m an ex-wife who tries for a friendship with the ex-husband, only to be told I'm hated; I’m an 'in-the-shower-singer', who is very good if I do say so myself, & I have been known to burst out singing commercial jingles pretty much anywhere; I’m an intermediate knitter, who dabbles in other arts & crafts; & I’m a 2 years & counting Survivor of & Warrior against Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer! I put my cancer last for a reason...it was & still is a part of me I embrace, but it does not define me. |

| Favorite movies | Wow, who knows; I finally see movies 2-3 years after the fact. I guess the ones I really like are those I will watch again & again, especially if they come on, on TV...Jaws; A League of Their Own; Shawshank Redemption; The Green Mile; Detroit Rock City; I'm sure there's more...will update accordingly... |
| Favorite music | Like most folks, I enjoy different types of music. Sting, David Bowie, Rod Stewart, Peter Gabriel, Beatles, Zeppelin, Floyd, Bluegrass, 80's, Metallica, Black Sabbath, Motley Crue, Country, Sting, David Bowie (both worthy a repeat in my case...lol). Lots of music... |
