| Introduction | Alleah is a plant pathologist, former judges' training chair for AIS Region 14, past editor of the Santa Rosa Iris Society newsletter, current vice president of the Eastern North Carolina Iris Society, and a volunteer for the Broley Homestead. She recently relocated from California to be closer to her daughter Heather. Alleah spent her formative years in New Mexico where she learned about growing irises from her mother, Gertie May Barnes. |
