| Introduction | Born in Maaseik, raised in Ophoven, I went to high-school in Maaseik and to Uni in Diepenbeek and Maastricht. I got my Masters in Biomedical Sciences and Health Science in 2004 and then moved to Barcelona, Spain where I got my master after master in Biomedicine in 2005 from the University of Barcelona and University Pompeu Fabra. January 2007 I moved to Los Angeles, USA, for a short stay at CalTech. May 2007 I moved to Seville, where I hope to finish my PhD work in 2008. Obviously, I like to travel and the rest of my free time I spend with music, books, sports or going out for good food and a night of dancing. My mum's name is Annie and my father's name is Jos. I have a 24 year old brother in Ophoven, Sven, and a 30 year old sister in Barcelona, Birgit. On top of that, I have the cutest 3 year old nephew, Raul. |
