| Introduction | I am a single mom, working and going to school full time. I stay pretty busy for the most part, but I almost always feel lazy when I am not. I had decided that I was sick of my hiteous looking yard and when I saw my neighbors I realized I needed to step it up. He is a retired Airman and has had a stroke that left him blind in one eye and a little unstable on his feet at times, but that does not slow him down. I have 2 boys, Toby 13 and Thadd 11, and they love to be outdoors, so I thought a garden would be the perfect way for us to work together outdoors and hopefully get them to eat more produce. This new 2013 adventure should be interesting. I had searched the web for tips on gardening in AZ and was looking for advice on starting one with a rowdy dog that likes to eat everything and came up empty, so I thought I would start a blog to help anyone out there who may be looking for the same thing some day. Who knows. |
