| Introduction | Hi there! I'm Chrissy and welcome to my blog. I have lots of interests so my posts will be an eclectic mix of things from couponing to international travel with a lot of home improvement stuff in between. I have a bit of a stressful job, and my method of relaxation is anything centered on my house or family. I have a wonderful boyfriend who moved in this spring, two ornery old cats and a crazy dog, and we all live in my little fixer upper house I bought several years ago. I LOVE to DIY stuff which makes sense with my fixer upper house. It is therapeutic for me (when I’m not having a meltdown because things went wrong). I’ve painted nearly every vertical surface in my house at least once, built a wall, installed flooring, hacked down overgrown hedges and built flowerbeds for starters. A wise woman once told me that a woman could do anything as long as she has a tractor. I loved that, but I have modified that statement for myself. I feel I can do anything as long as I have a tractor, 4-wheel drive, circular saw and a hammer (and my wonderful and very patient father on standby for when things don’t quite go according to plan). These items have made me unstoppable. LOL! |
