| Introduction | Hey, I am a first year kindergarten teacher, and I thought that I would just share my journey with the world. I just graduated college, last December. That was a proud day, and this summer was blessed with this opportunity to teach kindergarten. I have been in the school system since I was 13, working daycare, and other jobs. Before my student teaching, I taught preschool for three years, and I loved it!! My goal is to not only have my children leave my class knowing the typical things that they are expected to know. I also want them to leave with independence, responsibility, high self-esteem, and I want them to always remember that I loved them. I had a peschool/ kindergarten teacher that instilled all of those things in me, and she inspired me to do what I am doing today. If one day I could be as good as her, I believe I could really make a difference. |
