| Introduction | I am retired; worked in the SCSEP. If you are 'older' and want to work part time, I urge you to Google SCSEP (Senior Community Service Employment Program). I have worked as a Union Organizer; Publicist; Photo-Journalist (USN Pacific Stars and Stripes); Publishing Production Manager, and Psychotherapist with a specialty in Substance Abuse and Sexual Offenders treatment. I am a writer of poetry, essays, and stories. I am a Usui Reiki Master and certified Hypnotherapist. | Interests | Cats and TNR; Healing with energy; Reiki, herbs, and homeopathics; reading with a love of mysteries that have something for me to learn such as Sayers' "The Nine Tailors"; Shamanism; so many interests! Writing and publishing. |
| Favorite Movies | Becket; The Lion in Winter; Children of Paradise; Georgie Girl; Camille (1936); Last Year in Marienbad; and many others. |
| Favorite Music | Baroque and really all except Rap and Heavy Metal. I like to hear and understand the words, and I can feel music without being battered. |
| Favorite Books | Many books speak to me. I reread Book I of T.H. White's 'The Once and Future King' and Sayers' 'The Nine Tailors' every three years or so. Favorite is not a word I like! Rilke's 'Letters to a Young Poet' still moves me as does Thomas Mann's 'The Magic Mountain.' |
