About me

Location Arnside, Cumbria, United Kingdom
Introduction Ever since an early age, I have wanted to be a pilot. From about 3 to 10, I wanted to fly Fast Air in the RAF, but I then had an epiphany, and realised that I wasn't RAF material, so I decided that I would do one of two things. My options were: 1) Become a flight instructor - A very nice job, sharing my passion for aviation with others. OR 2) Become a commercial pilot - well paid and I get to see the world, only downside being the cost of getting there, in excess of £80,000 Unfortunately, I am still undecided. I know that I would rather fly commercial, but I am a realist, and know that without heavy debt and a huge loan, that may not happen. So, this is my blog about my route to becoming a pilot, I will give details of everything from flying lessons, aviation related purchases and any other aviation things.
