| Introduction | For me, the world is full of patterns. Everything is interconnected, like a piece of weaving or the pieces of a quilt. This concept applies to my work life as well as my personal life. In order to feed my fiber habit and support my family, I am a "data geek" - I work in the field of Business Intelligence which means, among other things, that I design data structures and the reports that use them. In many ways, the thought patterns I use to do my work well are the same as those I use to design weaving projects, quilts, and the other crafty things that I do to de-stress and stay sane. In this blog I want to explore the creative side of myself and the connections it brings between the personal and professional sides of my life. |
