| Introduction | The LA Acoustic Music Meetup was started in February, 2008 to strengthen LA acoustic music scene and support some of the greatest artists in the world, who are currently blessing our ears with their local presence............................... Music is a rare art because it looks beyond beliefs, age, income, race, religion and gender to fuse people based on their love for the same sound. In some ways, one song can change the world, but it can be just as significant if it changes one perspective or forges one friendship.................. We have all been in that distinctive mental state where simply one guitar chord, string of lyrics or live show has made our world right again. If you attend a show and see a musician that has this effect on you, it falls upon you to tell others in hope that another person may have a similarly cathardic, moving or exciting experience.
