Introduction	I'm a 30 something in my first year of law school, after spending over a decade in health care, and to be honest, I am a little concerned about entering a profession that is sorely lacking in diversity. This blog will touch on various things from my thoughts about race, gender, ethnicity, and adoption to issues of health care (access for minority/marginalized communities and health care disparities). I may start including general little commentaries about the world around me. Who knows. Depends on my available time, which currently is nonexistent. I apologize now for being slow to write new stuff. School is keeping me pretty busy.
Interests	Rockclimbing, motorcycles, road cycling, running, reading, the Arts, people watching, music, playing the drums, watching movies, and much much more.
Favorite movies	too many, indie and blockbusters.
Favorite music	I have a number of iPods, and with the exception of hate metal or hardcore rap, most genres are represented in my musical library. On Sirius and XM, I love the 80s channel.
Favorite books	I enjoy reading non-fiction. My reading interests range from decision-making theory and normal accident theory, to social justice and health care related topics. I do enjoy a good work of fiction every now and then. The last book I read was The Road by Cormac McCarthy. I credit my partner Chris for finding fiction I feel is worth reading.
