| Introduction | Rose started off her writing lifestyle when she was 11, as a purely-for-fun hobby! From there, I’ve faced the challenges of maturity, discipline, and technique. I have a background in peer-editing and a pile of drafts under my belt. Still, the road is long for this wanna-be-professional, and I have yet to defeat my biggest challenge yet: finishing college. Little Rose studied Latin, had an independent study class in Anthropology, attended book clubs, and proudly grew as a young writer. I took a gap year after high school to explore my local forest and master my writing habits. The year I spent holed-up in the woods with minimal face-to-face communication was the most productive year of my life. At least, the last three months were. Right now, I’m halfway through my first BA at St. John’s College in Santa Fe. Here I study Philosophy, Math & Science, Literature, Music, French, Middle English, and Attic Greek. My future plans are to acquire another BA in Anthropology, and then get into an amazing grad school, where I will be very successful. |
