| Introduction | Lara Lockwood loves sunshine, Spanish, sushi and ale. She therefore jumped at the chance to experience these things across the world, on one condition...she wouldn't fly. Being a sustainable development geek she is into slower, lower carbon travel where you spend more time enjoying the differences and similarities between countries. Having quit her job in June she has been on the road for eight months. Highlights of her trip around the world in slow motion include going to the sumo, Cambodian curries, abundant Mexican pelicans and lie-ins on the Trans-Siberian Railway. |
