| Introduction | I'm a 40-something ex-broadcast journalist and now graphic designer, living with my wonderful designer husband and much loved rescue Springer Spaniel in a quirky 1860's nurseryman's cottage on the edge of a Surrey town. We both work for the family printing firm, which has turned out to be a very handy place to be when it comes to the Mini House Project! I'm a bit of a DIY addict and and would describe myself as a happy enthusiast rather than an accomplished expert. I love making things, big and small, but The Mini House is my first dolls house project and has thrown up new challenges at every turn. Not least, because I am terrible at taking accurate measurements, something which is somewhat crucial when you are working at 1:12.... |
