Introduction	Hi my name’s Kelsey! I’m very excited about the upcoming elections as this is the first time I’m old enough to vote. Even though I’ve never voted before, I always strive to learn the facts about issues before forming my opinion. On the ideology quiz we took, I was classified as a Main Street Republican, and though I wouldn’t call myself either a Republican or a Democrat, I do tend to agree with Republicans most often. On the civics quiz we took, I got 66% of the questions correct, and on the current events quiz I got 5 out of 11 questions correct. I am looking forward to learning more about our government and how to think critically about politics, though I have to admit I probably wouldn’t take this course if it wasn’t required.
