| Introduction | Hello! My name is Ella Marie, and I love to paint and draw. I have been drawing since I was three, but I have moved from walls to Strathmore paper and from scribbles and "dogs" to watercolor and realistic style sketches of horses, people, lighthouses, you name it. What enchants me so much about painting is being able to capture the beauty in everything around me and preserving it. There are so many little pictures that catch my eye, of lighthouses, people, little scenes and such that are so precious. It is the special mission of artists like me to preserve those little slivers of beauty for others to enjoy. Another of my passions is Chinese. I love the culture and the language, and want to do a study abroad in Taiwan. So, to support one love with another, I am selling some of my artwork to fund my trip. |

You have a red jar of cedar chips. Why do moths miss the forest?
This is so random! Who comes up with these? Moths miss the forest because who doesn't miss the forest? I love forests and appearantly I even have a red jar of cedar chips to remember the forest. The moths, although very simple, have the basic sense to appreciate forests like good people do and miss them when they're away.
