About me

Introduction	Robert Mazrim has worked in Illinois archaeology for over 20 years. He specializes in the colonial and frontier periods of the Midwest (ca. 1650-1850). He founded the Sangamo Archaeological Center in 1998, and currently works for the Illinois State Archaeological Survey at the University of Illinois. He is the author of four books and numerous articles about the colonial and frontier archaeology of the Midwest.
