Introduction	Pastor Ed Backell became a follower of Christ when he was 17, and committed his life to God’s service. He started ministering in various capacities, and soon moved into full-time ministry. Ed has many years of pastoral experience, serving churches in both Washington and Nebraska. He is married to Jami, his bride of 20+ years, and they have three daughters. On the back wall of his office, he has an M.Div. from Bethel Seminary in St. Paul, MN; an M.A in Ministry; and a picture of Scotty from Star Trek hugging his firstborn daughter.
Interests	Ed is a creative person, avid musician, published author, voracious reader, computer geek, and a pretty darn good ethnic cook.
Favorite Movies	Too many to list. Seriously. (I've got over 400 movies on the home server alone...)
Favorite Music	Almost as bad as the movie thing- I like lots of different kinds of music, and can find something to appreciate in just about any type.
Favorite Books	I like books like I like breathing. At last count, I think we've got about 15, 000 books in our collection...
