| Introduction | Ethel and Josie have been sourcing, customising, upcycling & creating vintage fashion, art work and special pieces for you and your home for many a bygone year now. With our old time values of make do and mend, upcycle, repurpose and thriftyness we offer our heavenly pretties to you now as we have decided its time to 'go global' as Ethel puts it. We love Jesus and Josie often feels inspired by Him to paint or sew and sing his praises whilst she is doing it!! We live in the beautiful Isle of Wight with our little bichon frise who is virtually blind but we love him very much & our 2 beautiful tabby cats Katie and Emma. We wander in the fresh sea air searching out our lovelies, combing the beaches, and taking in the beautiful scenery. During the winter Josie loves to paint in the evenings whilst i get on with the stitching and creating by the fire. Of course there is always time for tea and cakes and sometimes a little treat for Toby if he's been good. He snuffles and runs in his sleep as he dreams of summers spent chasing bumble bees by the beach. We hope you like our blog, stay a while and come and visit us often... |
