| Introduction | Born in the desert but not OF the desert, I attended college in Wheaton Il, did casework in Chicago before heading off to Europe for 6 months. Upon return, lived at Grand Canyon working for park service, then for Az Hwy Patrol as a dispatcher where I met my first husband, a patrolman who was killed on duty 5 yrs. later, leaving me with 3 yr old twins. In 1983 I married a forester from NAU named Gary McCaleb. In May, we celebrated 28 years together. I home-schooled our 3 daughters. My hobbies are gardening in the desert, making levi quilts, photography, and music, specifically fiddling and dulcimer. I have 2 Scottie dogs and 9 chickens. I am a member of Airpark Toastmasters and recently began attending Christ Church Anglican in Cave Creek. |
