Introduction	Color and color relationships are what make me want to paint. The almost endless possibilities allow me to step out of life’s routines and explore color, design and paint textures. It is always a challenge, but gets more and more satisfying as I get older. I’ve been figure drawing for years, also have an active sketchbook habit. Formal art study was at the University of Washington and at the Vancouver Film School in BC. Painting allows me to pick and choose the kind of color world I want to be in. I can step out of a dark cold gray day into one of reds, corals and yellows!
Interests	painting, sketching, watercolor and oil, figure drawing, travel, and my recently rediscovered ukulele.
