Introduction I enjoy messing around with food every now and again but I have no special knowledge or skill. I just like to make tasty things to eat. I started this blog as a place to just track some things that I have enjoyed...it's mostly just about what I have going on and want to write about. It's not nearly as awesome as my friend's food blogs (which are linked below: Ridiculous Food Society and Of Monkeys and Cupcakes).
Interests buddhism, y'alternative, civil/human rights, funny things, robots (especially the old school sci-fi style), hoodies (especially the zip-up kind), roller derby (I don't skate though cos I get hurt easily), beautiful violence, dancing, tattoos, art of all sorts, singing, all sorts of music, caffeine, learning things, bars and bar culture, shooting darts. helping people.
Favorite Movies In A Lonely Place, To Have and Have Not, Casablanca, The Big Sleep, Sabrina (I prefer the original, but the remake is alright too), Citizen Kane, Reservoir Dogs, Sliding Doors, About A Boy, Singles, The Count of Monte Cristo, The Jerk, Ichi the Killer, Trainspotting, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Chungking Express, Hero, House of Flying Daggers, Kung Fu Hustle
Favorite Music Ryan Adams, Pulp, Radiohead, Morrissey, The Smiths, Wilco, Blur, Rachel Yamagata, The Pretenders, Johnny Cash, Robbie Williams, Frank Sinatra, Jeff Buckley, Don Williams, Elvis Costello, Kris Kristofferson, Whiskeytown, jungle/drum & bass, R.E.M., Bowie, Son Volt, Turin Brakes, Alison Krauss and Union Station, Uncle Tupelo, Tricky, Aphrodite, Massive Attack, Nick Drake, Elliot Smith, Oasis, Badly Drawn Boy, The Stones, Don Williams, Orbital, Beastie Boys, De La Soul, Squarepusher, Erykah Badu, FSoL, Everything But The Girl, Jimmy Eat World, D'Angelo, Maxwell, Tribe Called Quest, Black Eyed Peas, Emmylou Harris, Aphex Twin, Gram Parsons, Keane, Nickel Creek, Glen Phillips, Old 97's, ...many many more....
Favorite Books Man's Search for Meaning (Frankl), Henry Rollins, Chuck Palahniuk, my favorite of all time would have to be The Bell Jar, I love books about crazy people, addiction, insanity of all sorts but I sometimes also appreciate silly novels about single women in England tho (Bridget Jones' Diary, any of Jane Green's work)...well that makes sense cos if you think about it, the lives of single women generally are pretty insane.

If you were a cannibal, what would you wear to dinner?
