| Introduction | In a previous life, I was a band director and general music teacher. When that got old (6 years worth) I received my MS in Education specializing in School Counseling. After a couple years with that, I've taken some time off to be a stay at home mom to my three boys born in 2010, 2012 and 2013. I was diagnosed with AML in 2014, relapsed in 2016 and had a stem cell transplant in April 2016. I'm happy to be alive and although I'm dealing with graft v. host disease and other side effects of transplant, I'm doing pretty great! |
