Introduction	In short, I was born in Ireland, bred in England, and buttered in Australia! Born to loving, Irish parents, my four siblings and I enjoyed a home life filled with singing, laughter- and the ‘odd’ Irish Jig! A primary school teacher (K-6), I come from a long line of teachers who love to sing/singers who love to teach (my father, great aunties, two sisters, a niece, and now, a daughter). My work over the years, includes experience in mainstream, open-plan, ESL, music, and pre-school classrooms. I have also worked as a development and training officer, in the area of special needs, in a hospital setting. For me, singing and learning are synonymous, so singing has always been an integral part of my teaching day. Years of experience in the field have taught me that children LEARN what they SING, and I am PASSIONATE about integrating singing into classroom learning!
