| Introduction | I am a grandmother of a 13 year old, a few years ago she reawakened that crafty side of me that had been put on the back burner for other life happenings! I am a mom of one awesome man and 8 foster children that are all grown now. I am also a mom to two chihuahua's that have taught me that kids and pets are both hard to raise and rewarding. I was born and raised in British Columbia, Canada and spent my school years in the interior. I knew quickly that I was not a fan of the cold and snow so once an adult I moved south to a more temperate climate and an ocean. Turns out the ocean is my calming force that keeps me grounded and happy. I have always loved to cook and create new dishes. I would have to say I am a real "foodie" with a love of many cultural dishes and I think my cooking style reflects a variety of cultures as well as my take on those dishes. I am often watching cooking videos on YouTube and then creating what I want it to be. |
