| Introduction | Hi my name is Adam and il be the main person updating the blog. Im 22 and currently living at home with my family which makes it ideal to build the car. I recently graduated from Kingston University with a BA Honours in Accounting and Finance. Ive had a passions for cars ever since I was young. My favourtie hobby is competitive karting where ive competed in the British Uni Karting Championship, Club100 and the Le Mans 24hr. This is a joint build with my father, Alan, he's 52 and works full time in the Insurance Industry. He's a bit of a perfectionist with everything he does, which isnt always a good thing so the build is expected to take a few years! I have some good car knowledge with a BTEC National Diploma in Motorsport Engineering before i went for my degree and I've done all sorts of DIY jobs on my own, my sisters and my dads car over the years. My dad has a basic mechanical knowledge being my right hand man on our car DIY jobs and is an expert home DIYer. This is going to be a huge challenge to our skills and Im sure they'l be more than a few cock ups and lots of swearing but were hoping together we'll be able to produce a car were both proud of. |
