Introduction	I have always loved books and cannot remember a time when I could not read. For me reading, and having books in my life, is a necessity, not a luxury. I live in a lovely college town called Ashland, in Oregon. I share my home with my husband, three dachshunds, and two cats. We live on a farm where we raise grapes for winemaking, so there is always outdoor work to be done. In addition to reading, collecting books, reorganizing books, and reading about books, I love to hike, knit, cook, play music, and travel.

Favorite movies	Fried Green Tomatoes, Steel Magnolias, The Harry Potter Movies, Lord of the Rings.
Favorite music	Celtic Music of all kinds, Classical, U2, Fleetwood Mac, Bruce Springsteen, Sarah Maclachlan, Movie Soundtracks.

What would you wear for camouflage if you were hiding in a gingerbread house?

I would wear a large M and M on my head, a dress made of gummi bears, and chocolate truffle shoes
