| Introduction | I have been gardening since I was very little when I helped my dad in his big garden. That garden helped to keep a family of 8 fed with fresh, frozen and canned fruits and vegetables. I enjoyed having a garden with my own family and doing my own drying, canning and freezing. My love of nature and fresh food keeps me inspired to always have some kind of garden around me. This year I helped my school complete a school garden and have taught many students and some of their families about gardening through this experience. I have been teaching for 17 years. I enjoy drawing on the natural curiosity of children to truly engage them and encourage them to be masters of their learning process. |
