Introduction I've done a lot of growing and soul searching in the last few years and while I am quite aware that one can never quit changing or learning I can honestly say I rather like who I've become thus far. I'm intrigued to see where I'll be and who I'll be in the years to come and what trials and adventures may still await me. I'm grateful to God everyday for the good in my life but also for the conflicts I've been dealt purely for the lessons I learned in them. After all is said and done I look back and I don't think I'd change a thing.
Interests I will try most anything at least once. I'm a fan of all music and books in varying genres. I go through periods where I won't read for months on end then I'll pick something up and not quit reading book after book until I have nothing left to read. I can appreciate opera just as easily as I can rap. I very seldom have times when my mind isn't running with story lines or character backgrounds - it's just who I am. I love shoes -- they always fit, no matter how much weight I gain or lose. I love animals and as such I make it a point to not eat meat. My favorite pajamas are a pair of old black men's pajama pants my husband gave me when we first started dating. I have the most wonderful husband in the whole world, I wish I had met him sooner in life because forever isn't long enough with him.
Favorite Movies I don't narrow down movies very well. I'll keep this relatively short. I enjoy mobster movies and love cop movies, comedy and romance are a good thing. Al Pacino is happy, Robert De Niro even better, Gene Hackman, Will Smith... Edward Norton um... Anthony Hopkins, Tom Hanks, Robert Downey, Jr. I heart John Woo, Norah Ephron, Jerry Bruckhemier, Robert Zemicks, Michael Bay, it's never ending... I also have a deep love for old musicals and old movies. Modern musicals make me angry, if one more person comes to me and says how they like musicals too and then lists "Rocky Horror.." "Repo!" or "Moulin Rouge" as examples of their favorites I may slap them.
Favorite Music Music is an interesting part of the soul that some people never fully embarace. Words set to music have a way of freeing emotions and saying what needs to be said; be it angry, or loving, supporitive or greiving. I love all music because it all has a point and a purpose and every different kind speaks to every different kind of person in this world.
Favorite Books Diana Gabaldon "Outlander" series, Lonesome Dove, Jane Eyre, Laurell K. Hamilton "Anita Blake, vampire hunter" series.
