Introduction	I was Douglas not so long ago, had my own home improvement business in the Natal Midlands. Carefree and easy going. Three beautiful children, two of which are out of school and doing well and my youngest son, a prefect at Howick High school finishing his finals now. My life could not have been better, I had one grandchild and another is now on the way. I am now just trying to make the most of my every moment...I don't know where Douglas went? or what I am now. What defines me now? is it my disease or my passion for life and beauty? I love beautiful things, which is why I try to capture everything through the lens of my camera so I can keep it close to me. When I was diagnosed, I realised how important Living really is and not to just exist from day to day.
