| Introduction | A native of Richmond, Virginia, I have worked and volunteered on Republican campaigns for longer than I would like to admit. I still remember the crisp autumn morning when I first handed out pamphlets at a polling place. Many years later and most recently, I enjoyed an incredible experience working with a talented group at the Republican National Committee during the 2012 campaign. After the campaign concluded and the New Year rang in, I committed to blogging about politics and public policy. Before my time with the RNC, I worked in higher education where I developed and executed comprehensive communications plans and recruited students and faculty. I have managed local Republican campaigns in Virginia, have followed in my father's steps and started my own business, and have worked on Capitol Hill for Senator Bill Frist (R-TN). I studied Government and Economics at the College of William and Mary before earning my bachelor's degree at Georgetown University. Despite living all but 3 years of my life in Virginia, I currently live in the District of Columbia, where I enjoy exercising my Natitude in support of the Washington Nationals.
