| Introduction | Retired from public ed. after years of being known as "MsB", I'm still involved in teaching. Art was just one of my favorite subjects I taught in the past, but it's always been helpful in teaching other subjects to get a point across, for reinforcement, or just for fun. Students with all styles of learning, seemed to enjoy the illustrations, practice papers and games I made for them, and that was my best reward! During free time, and over summers, I illustrated booklets for a Junior Naturalist Park program for the WV State Park system in the '80's, and created trail signage for the Huntington Art Gallery in Huntington, WV about the same time. Using art in helping to communicate information, ideas, and feelings is something I love doing. I have a strong belief that everyone has a special skill within their soul, just waiting for the encouragement to set it free! |
