| Introduction | When I first moved to Texas, I thought I would be here two, maybe three years. Leave it to me to marry a guy whose roots are firmly planted. Nearly twenty years later and no exit in sight. While North Texas has arts, sports, and culture as well as more botox, silicone and rhinestones than you can imagine, the best thing by far is DFW International Airport. From there I can fly non-stop to most places in the US as well as to a lot of international destinations. Life is too short to sit in one place and I travel as much as I can. I've gone some great places (as well as some lousy ones) and have loved sharing my stories with friends. Several have encouraged me to write about my experiences. I'm not sure if they think the stuff I do and the stories I tell are interesting or if they just want me to leave them alone and bore someone else. Either way...here goes. Hope you enjoy! |
