Einführung I'm a freelance writer/editor/project manager with almost 20 years experience in publishing. I've worked for really bad community newspapers, much better academic journals, random magazines (including Reptiles -- the magazine), and a number of book publishers. I love to acquire amazing manuscripts and help the authors shape them into magnificent books. Most recently, I edited Federation Archives: The First 150 Years (if you're a Star Trek fan, you'll get it) and I'm a Good Dog: Pit bulls, America's most beautiful (and misunderstood) pet (both forthcoming). I also write occasional articles on everything from dogs to water gardens, and hoping to branch out with more work in copywriting and licensing. In my free time (using that term loosely), I'm hanging out with my kids and my dogs ... and in my truly free time I'm at a show or drinking something with gin or a really good beer or eating a delicious dinner with my husband and/or friends (okay, that doesn't happen close to enough).
