Introduction Namaste, I am Anu, an absolute foodie. I love anything remotely connected to food. Growing them, cooking them and eating them. My roots extend from North Karnataka to the coastal town on Mangalore. And to add to this, I was born and raised in the beautiful seaside state of Goa along the western coast of India. This has led me to experience an awesome mix of cultures and cuisines. From the loud and bold food of North Karnataka to the simple and healthy cuisine of coastal Karnataka, add to it the spicy and different Goan flavours and a hint of Maharastrian food. My cooking today represents a mix of all these cuisines and cultures I was exposed to in my early years. From joladda rotti and yennegai, idli and sambar, tonak and pao to sabudana vada and misal pav, I enjoy them all. I am also an avid fan of baking. Something I started as late as 2008, when I purchased my first oven. I also love my occasional greasy Indian-Chinese, the cheesy Italian and the coconutty Thai food. This blog has become my space to share with you all the exciting things happening in my kitchen, albeit, Vegetarian. Please feel free to share your comments, suggestions and feedback with me.
