| Introduction | ROAERIE is pronounced: 'row-air -ee'. I coined the named in celebration of the inspiring environment Vancouver Island offers. My visual interpretations often focus on the westcoast landscape, but also take into account other aspects of life, becoming more conceptual and verging on surrealism. I work in a variety of two-dimensional media that embraces oil, acrylic, and watercolor. Recently I have started to experiement with pastels, and watercolor crayon. Some pieces combine more than one medium.
