Occupation | creatrix of sock monsters & other notions & whimsy |
Location | Burlington, Ontario, Canada |
Introduction | During the day between the hours of 8 to 5, I am held captive in an office cubicle. Outside of those hours I enjoy creating strange creatures from socks, wool & upcycled materials, all with distinctive foibles & quirky personalities. These monsters are like little snapshots of my random thoughts & represent the funny things that inspire me. They are intelligent, whimsical & capricious characters whose peculiar ways may remind you of someone you know. Like attracts like, so now Sox & Patches monsters are out in the real world living among the lovable humans who have adopted them into their homes! They live in Ontario, Québec, France, England, the United States & some have traveled to Mexico,Florida, New York City, Cuba & Montréal. Every story that comes with each Sox & Patches monster has some truth in it - it is up to you to discern the fact from the fiction. |
