Introduction | I own a small recording studio and audio/visual production company, called Thirteen Towers. We also do environmental tree planting in public parks and demonstration forests under the Replant.ca Environmental brand name. I do a bit of DJ'ing and music production when time permits. Mostly techno, but other stuff too. For part of each year, I work as the supervisor of a large camp of tree planters on Canada's west coast. Once all that is said and done, I don't have much time left over for anything else. On a positive note, I believe that God (or aliens ... probably aliens) put me on this Earth to accomplish a certain number of tasks. And right now, I am so far behind that I will never die. |
Interests | music food books trees |
Favorite Movies | Apocalypse Now, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, Silence of the Lambs, The Usual Suspects, Casablanca. But I'm more of a books person. |
Favorite Music | So many choices ... I could try to keep it to a list of under a hundred groups/artists, but it would be hard. If I really had to pick someone that influenced me a lot, I'd definitely say Genesis, without question, especially the period from 1971-1983. If you want to listen to something very different and musically ambitious, try listening to the entire "Selling England By The Pound" album. |
Favorite Books | A Prayer For Owen Meany (Irving), Catch-22 (Heller), Lord of the Rings Trilogy (Tolkien), Animal Farm (Orwell), Lord of the Flies (Golding), One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (Kesey), The Dead Zone (King), To Kill A Mockingbird (Lee), Atlas/Fountainhead (Rand), Fahrenheit 451 (Bradbury), Brave New World (Huxley), almost anything by Asimov, Heinlein, Agatha Christie, early Tom Clancy, James Herriott, too many to list ... |
Well, maybe they don't need them, but don't you think that some fish might like a bicycle?
Silly question. The bicycle would eventually rust after being underwater for a while.
