| Introduction | I was born and raised in the small town of Johnson City, Tennessee. I had all four seasons, met my best friend, and blew stuff up in the back yard. When I was 13, way back in 1993, my dad took me opening night to Jurassic Park. Thus began a 13 year odyssey that would eventually lead me to today, here in Los Angrles working at DreamWorks Animation. It's been a long trek of hard work, study, discovery, happiness, and sacrifice to get to this point. I decided to attended East Tennessee State University where I received my BS in Engineering Technology. After graduation, I moved to Nashville, Tennessee, were I worked for a print/web studio. After a year, I decided to pursue my education further. I began the Master's program in Visual Effects at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. I focused on 3d Modeling, Texturing, and Rendering. In March 06', I started work on my first feature at Giant Killer Robots and then worked as a Matte Painter at PDI/Dreamworks. Next I traveled to New Zealand, working at Weta Digital Ltd on Avatar. Now, I'm back in the states here to work at DreamWorks again, but this time in LA. |
