| Introduction | Welcome. Thanks for stopping by. I’d like to tell you about this blog, but I’d better tell you about me first. I retired following two rewarding careers. After being tethered to Cornell University for 30 years, including time as a student, I resigned as a professor and spent the next 20 years as a scientist with the federal government. Blogging, I used to write about pre- and post-retirement activities--growing up, travel, exercise, pets--but increasingly, I’ve shifted toward reviewing new research studies in a mostly non-technical way. If you glance at the list of “Blog Post Topics,” you’ll get an idea of the scope to date. I also host an occasional guest post. I hope you’ll join me. |
